The
Albergo della Posta is located in the historical downtown
of Bracciano, close to the medieval village, where you
can visit the famous Orsini Odescalchi's Castle, one of
the most beautiful and well preserved castles of the world.
The
hotel is only few hundreds metres far from the lake. The
Bracciano Lake is of volcanic origin and it offers a variety
of water sports activities. Bracciano
is situated in a most favourable area, so you can visit,
within a radius of 30 Km, the wonderful landscapes of
the “Tuscia Viterbese” and the medieval
city of Viterbo. You can also stopover to the Etruscan
Necropolis of Cerveteri and the recently renewed thermal
baths of Stigliano.
In
addition it is about 20 Km from the Tyrrhenian sea,
close to the coastal towns of Fregene, Santa Severa,
Santa Marinella and Civitavecchia.
The
hotel is conveniently located at 2 hundreds metres from
the railway station, where you can take the train to
Rome. It runs every half hour and takes one hour to
reach the capital.
